Chief Development Officer
Our client, located in Wheat Ridge, CO, is a nonprofit, human services agency providing innovative life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness.  They are seeking a skilled, energetic and mission-focused “player/coach” to serve as Chief Development Officer (CDO).
 
The CDO is responsible for the cultivation of a personal portfolio of individual donors and serves as the agency’s major gifts officer.  The CDO leads of team of seven and will serve as a member of the executive leadership team.

Chief Financial Officer
EFL Associates is assisting our client in the recruitment of a Chief Financial Officer.  Our client is an international, nonprofit, scientific and educational association in Denver, Colorado that serves over 50,000 members today.  
 
The CFO operates as strategic business partner to the CEO, the Board of Directors and all business leaders.  S/he will be responsible for leading and participating in all financial and business strategy planning and serves as a key leader on the Executive Team.
 
Requirements include: an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; a CPA or CMA designation and/or Master’s degree; minimum of ten years’ experience as an accounting/finance leader including five years in a supervisory role.  Nonprofit experience and proven success working with a Board of Directors is preferred.

Chief Research Officer

The Chief Research Officer (“CRO”) role is a newly created position that will report to the Chief Executive Officer.  The CRO will work closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors, peers and staff to support the mission and vision of our client by providing leadership for all research and government relations programs and activities with the goal of advancing treatments and accelerating cures for Polycystic Kidney Disease.

Qualified candidates will possess: An M.D. and/or Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biomedical sciences; 10 or more years of experience in commercial operations of biomedical research and drug discovery/development expertise, including staffing and budgeting; knowledge of payer markets, physician education, and federal agency advocacy; expertise in commercializing data registries; direct experience conducting research, systematic reviews, and evidence synthesis is highly desirable.
