Chief Executive Officer

Our nonprofit client’s mission is providing support to those with disabilities and working toward a fundamental shift in how they are perceived by the community. They understand real change happens when men and women with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to showcase their abilities. 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead a team of senior level direct reports and a large staff. The CEO’s responsibilities include P&L management, human resources, program management, fundraising and community and board relations. 

We seek: A proven track record of innovative executive leadership including strategy, finance, staff and volunteer recruitment and retention, program development and integration, and fundraising; a skilled communicator to offer consistent and thoughtful messaging to residents, families, and regulatory agencies; a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. An advanced graduate degree is preferred.

Executive Director

Vice President of Government & Community Affairs

Our client, located in Louisville, KY, is the world’s largest nonprofit organization creating educational, workplace and independent living products and services for people who are blind or visually impaired.  They are seeking an inspirational and passionate, highly-mission driven Vice President of Government & Community Affairs

Reporting to the President, the VP of Government & Community Affairs will serve as a key advisor to the President pertaining to all government activities at the organization related to the Act to Promote the Education of the Blind 1879 and the partnership between the organization and the U.S. Federal Government and other governmental entities.

While our client is based in Louisville, this role can work remotely with travel to both Louisville and Washington, DC as needs dictate.
