Chief Operating Officer

Our nonprofit client is a private funder of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) research, solely dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for PKD.

The COO’s efforts will be concentrated internally, leading, planning, managing and organizing the operations and administrative functions while working closely with the CEO (externally focused), Board of Directors, and peers and staff.

Qualified candidates will possess: a minimum BS/BA degree and 10 plus years’ experience driving significant results in a high-performance, rapid-growth nonprofit organization; experience working with nonprofit Board of Directors; and a demonstrated track record of leadership and management excellence.

Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a Director of HR for our client, a large, diverse department of the State of Colorado with over 5,000 employees.  Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director of Administration, the Director of HR, together with the 70+ HR team, will ensure timely and appropriate measures for organizational success regarding legal/regulatory compliance, HR strategic management, and training and professional development.

The successful candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Management, or a related field and possess a minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience in HR with a minimum of three years at the executive level developing and executing strategic work plans, budget development and control, and effective relationship management. Prior success working within a unionized environment and/or government experience is strongly preferred.

We seek a proven track record of successful human health business development leadership; contact networks within US Government organizations and leading commercial health companies; a degree with 15+ years of experience; and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.  An MBA or graduate degree is preferred.
