Chief Executive Officer

Our nonprofit client’s mission is providing support to those with disabilities and working toward a fundamental shift in how they are perceived by the community. They understand real change happens when men and women with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to showcase their abilities. 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead a team of senior level direct reports and a large staff. The CEO’s responsibilities include P&L management, human resources, program management, fundraising and community and board relations. 

We seek: A proven track record of innovative executive leadership including strategy, finance, staff and volunteer recruitment and retention, program development and integration, and fundraising; a skilled communicator to offer consistent and thoughtful messaging to residents, families, and regulatory agencies; a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. An advanced graduate degree is preferred.

Secretary of Labor

We are proud to partner with the State of Kansas in the retained search for the Secretary of Labor.

Reporting to the Office of Governor Kelly , the Secretary will lead the 400 employee Department of Labor, providing workers and employers in Kansas with essential information and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years’ experience serving in a labor focused leadership role; preference given to those with state or national experience in a labor department/agency.

Vice President – Health Business Group

We seek a Vice President - Health Business Group (VP) on behalf of our client, an independent, nonprofit organization which performs contract scientific and engineering research for government and industry. The VP will report to the President & CEO and lead a newly created business unit to deliver profitable growth in customers and revenues in government and commercial sectors. This role will provide a high degree of autonomy regarding operating decisions.

We seek a proven track record of successful human health research leadership; contact networks within US Government organizations and leading commercial health companies; an advanced degree with 20+ years of experience; an MBA or equivalent experience; and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
