Chief Operating Investment Officer / Senior Risk Officer

Our client, based in Trenton, is seeking a Chief Operating Investment Officer / Senior Risk Officer.  With $92 billion in assets under management, the Division is the 40th largest pension fund manager globally and the 18th largest among U.S. public and corporate pension fund managers.

The Chief Operating Investment Officer / Senior Risk Officer will be responsible for overseeing the analysis of composite investment risks within the various asset classes and portfolios, along with the assessment and resolution of operational risks, as well as operational oversight of the Cash Management Fund and the Pension Fund’s securities lending program.

Executive Director

Our client is seeking an Executive Director (ED).   The organization is a cost-sharing multi-employer, contributory defined benefit plans which are governed jointly by a seven-member Board of Trustees.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the ED is responsible for planning, organizing and administering all operations of the Systems, with assets over $45B and an operating budget in excess of $26M.  The ED leads a dedicated workforce of over 140 through five direct reports.

Executive Director

Our client, is seeking an Executive Director (ED).  Established in 1974, MSRP offers teachers and state employees voluntary supplemental retirement savings options including a 403(b) Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan, a 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan, and 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.  The combined Plans have assets in excess of $4.3 billion.

The ED is the Chief Executive Officer of MSRP and is appointed by and reports to the nine-member fiduciary oversight and policy Board of Trustees.  The ED will lead a staff of 11 and work closely with Nationwide Retirement Services on plan administration and member interaction. MSRP is based in Baltimore.

Must Have’s:

  • 5+ years as a relationship manager from a banking or registered investment institution.

  • Proven knowledge of investment markets and risk management.
  • A history of driving organizational change to increase service delivery and efficiencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. CFA, CFP, CTFA, and Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred.

Medical Director

We seek a Medical Director on behalf of our client, a for profit disease-related research and development organization which works to improve human health and advance science by tackling projects that may be considered too early or too unconventional for traditional biotech or pharmaceutical companies.

The MD will report to the Chief Operating Officer with significant interaction with the President & CEO of the organization.

Qualified candidates will possess: A doctor of medicine degree and a minimum of four years of clinical research; oncology experience; biostatistics, regulatory, pre-clinical and translational pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences expertise; significant background in developing Phase I & II protocols; industrial critical path thinking skills are preferred.
