Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a private aviation company that offers private aviation services including charter, jet cards, fractional ownership, whole aircraft management, and aircraft maintenance. The CFO will provide financial and strategic leadership as part of the executive team.  The CFO will report to the President/CEO and oversee a finance/accounting team of 15. Human resources and information technology will indirectly report to the CFO.

We seek: 10+ years of financial and operations management experience - including mergers and acquisition experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; and a CPA and/or graduate level degree (e.g., MBA).

Director, Human Resources

Our client, is seeking a Director, Human Resources.   CTPF is the administrator of a defined benefit public employee retirement fund providing retirement, survivor, and disability benefits for over 67,500 certified teachers and employees of the Chicago Public Schools.  CTPF also offers group health insurance coverage for members who must pay for health insurance coverage when they retire, and provides a subsidy to help pay for the cost of coverage. CTPF is headquartered in downtown Chicago.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director, Human Resources, is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.  The Director, Human Resources will oversee two direct reports.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance will lead a team of approximately 25 individuals in financial reporting, risk and financial analysis, insurance, and facilities.

Equity Portfolio Analyst

Our client, New Jersey Department of the Treasury – Division of Investment (the “Division”), based in Trenton, is seeking an Equity Portfolio Analyst.  With $92 billion in assets under management, the Division is the 40th largest pension fund manager globally and the 18th largest among U.S. public and corporate pension fund managers.

The Equity Portfolio Analyst will bring solid investment skills and experience working with portfolio investment software, along with researching and implementing various passive investment strategies (currently for Developed Markets), as well as corporate actions. Executive Director

Our client, the Houston Firefighters’ Relief & Retirement Fund (HFRRF) is seeking an Executive Director (ED).   HFRRF is a single employer defined benefit pension plan covering all firefighters employed full-time by the City of Houston and provides for service, disability, deferred and death benefits for eligible members and their survivors. 

The ED role reports to the Board and will plan, organize, direct, and control the overall management functions and day-to-day administration of HFRRF in accordance with policies established by the Board.  The ED will work closely with the Board Chairman and oversee an annual operating budget, net of investment manager fees, of approximately $9.2M. The ED will oversee a staff of approximately 28 employees through six direct reports.

Human Resources Manager

Retirement Executive Director

Our client, the City of Cincinnati, is seeking a Retirement Executive Director to lead the Cincinnati Retirement System (CRS). CRS includes a single employer defined benefit Pension Plan for general employees that includes a deferred retirement option program (DROP), and a retiree health care benefits. Combined Pension Trust and OPEB Trust assets are $2.2B. CRS serves approximately 3,000 active members and 4,300 pensioners.

The Retirement Executive Director is appointed by and reports to the City Manager. The Retirement Executive Director is responsible for providing the support and guidance necessary for the Board to discharge its fiduciary responsibilities to plan participants and ensure that CRS administers the complex benefits structure accurately. This role will direct a staff of twelve through four direct reports.
