Administrator/Chief Executive Officer

Our client, the Government Employees’ Retirement System of the Virgin Islands (the “GERS”) is seeking an Administrator/Chief Executive Officer. GERS administers defined benefit retirement programs for over 17,500 public employees and their beneficiaries throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands. The GERS currently has 75 employees tasked with administering the pension plan. In addition, there are 28 employees tasked with operating the Havensight Mall, which is owned and managed by the GERS.

The Administrator is the chief executive officer of the GERS overseeing all aspects of administering retirement and disability benefits, investment management, performance and reporting, and legal compliance for the System. The incumbent executes duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Virgin Islands Code. The position receives direction from the GERS Board of Trustees. Advice and consent from the Virgin Islands Legislature is a requirement for appointment to this position.

Assistant Investment Officer(s)

Chief Financial Officer

Chief, Health Plan Research and Administration

We are pleased to assist our client, the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) identify their next Chief, Health Plan Research and Administration. Chief Investment Officer

San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System (SDCERS) is seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO).  SDCERS is an agency of the State of California and is the administrator of three separate single employer defined benefit pension plans for the City, Port and Airport. Vice President/General Manager

The VP/GM will report to the SVP of PBI’s Companion Animal Segment, and will serve alongside the VP/GM of Pet-Ag. S/he will manage a team of nine direct reports overseeing, Operations and Technical Services, Quality, Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory, R&D, Procurement, Portfolio Management, and Third-Party Contracts.

Credentials We Seek:

  • Over 10 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility including general management and/or business unit leadership, plus a minimum of five years of experience in the animal health industry.
  • Broad based managerial experience including leadership of teams with diverse responsibilities, i.e. - production plants, scientists, product release management, business development/sales and logistics preferred.
  • A proven track record of success in managing a P&L in an organization of similar revenue size and people management responsibility – multi-functional background.
  • A BS/BA degree in a business or technical/science field (e.g., engineering, chemistry, etc.)
  • An advanced degree will distinguish more sought-after prospects.

  • Proven track record of creating and executing a well-researched business development plan.
